"Look at my chart!" — and then comes the retelling: "So my Moon is in Scorpio, but it's not what you think… and there's something in my seventh house too." Your friend nods politely, the conversation drifts somewhere else within a minute, and half of what you meant gets lost along the way. You don't have to retell your chart. You can simply share your natal chart and let your friend see it exactly the way it looks in the app.
The short version
Eira turns your natal chart into a ready-made image card. You can send it to a friend in a chat or post it to your Telegram story. And if your friend builds their own chart through your link, you both get 15 extra messages to use in the chat with Eira.
What your friend will see
The card is an image, not a line of text with a link. People want to see something first and click second. The card shows:
- the zodiac wheel with your planets, each one in its sign;
- your big three: Sun, Moon and Rising sign;
- your name (only the first word from your profile) and your birth date;
- at the bottom, an invitation — "Discover your natal chart in Eira" — and the app's Telegram address.
Your birth time and birthplace never appear on the card. If you didn't enter a birth time, the Rising sign shows a dash instead: without an exact time it can't be calculated. Why the time matters so much is covered in why your birth time matters.
The card is written in whatever language you've set in the app.
How to share it in three steps
Step 1. Open your chart
Tap "My chart" at the bottom of the app and make sure the "Chart" tab is selected at the top. Under the wheel you'll see a "Read basic reading" button, and right below it, "Share".
Step 2. Choose where it goes
A small window pops up with three options: "To Stories", "Send to a chat" and "More options". The differences are explained below.
Step 3. Add a few words of your own
When you send it to a chat, the app attaches the link to Eira for you, so your friend is one tap away from building their own chart. All you need to add is a message about what you actually want to talk about. "Look, my Moon is in Cancer — is that why it takes me a week to get over an argument?" lands far better than a picture with no context.
Where you can send your chart
To a chat — one friend or a group
"Send to a chat" opens your usual list of Telegram chats. Pick a person or a group, and the image itself goes there with the caption "My astrology in Eira" and your personal link to the app. This is the most reliable option: your friend opens Eira straight from the link in the caption, and the invite is credited to you.
To your Telegram story
"To Stories" posts the card to your story — handy when you want everyone to see it rather than one person. One catch: Telegram only lets Premium subscribers add a clickable link to a story. Without Premium, your story goes out as just the image. The app's address is visible on it, but a friend who finds Eira that way won't count as coming "through your link". If the invite bonus matters to you, a direct message is the safer route.
More options
This opens your phone's own share menu, if Telegram supports it on your device. From there you can send the card to another messenger or save it as an image and post it anywhere you like. Keep in mind that your personal link may not make it to your friend this way, and then the bonus won't be credited.
If your Telegram app is out of date, the button will send a plain link instead of the image. Update Telegram and the card will go out as a picture again.
What you both get
When the person you sent your chart to builds their first chart through your link, you each get 15 bonus tokens for chatting with Eira. One token is one message in the chat, so 15 tokens means 15 questions. It's not a reward for blasting your link around — it's for the fact that someone close to you wanted to take a look at themselves too.
How it works in practice:
- Your friend has to be new to Eira and open the app through your link. If they've already used Eira before, the invite won't count.
- The bonus comes from a finished chart, not a click. Opening the link isn't enough — your friend needs to enter their birth details and wait until their chart is built.
- Once per friend. If they later change their details and the chart is recalculated, the bonus isn't paid a second time.
- No cap on the number of friends. Invite three people, all three build a chart, and you're up 45 messages.
- You'll get a notification. Once your friend's chart is ready, Eira messages you: "A friend joined Eira through your link". Your friend's bonus simply lands in their account, with no separate message.
No card needed: the "Invite a friend" button
Sometimes you'd rather not show your chart but still want to bring someone in. That's what the separate "Invite a friend" button is for. You'll find it at the bottom of the same chart tab and in your profile, under "Invite friends". It sends a short invitation with a link instead of an image. The bonus works the same way: 15 messages each once your friend builds a chart.
What else you can share
The "Share" button isn't limited to the natal chart. Daily, weekly and monthly forecasts, life-sphere readings, recommendations and the karmic reading can all be sent the same way, as a card with a quote. It's useful when a forecast contains a line you want to forward to the person it's about.
How to talk through a chart together
The picture is only the opening of a conversation. To keep it from ending at "huh, cool", here's where to start.
- Start with the big three. The Sun is how a person chooses, the Moon is how they react, and the Rising sign is how others see them at first glance. How the three add up to a portrait is explained in Sun, Moon and Rising.
- Compare your Moons. The Moon often explains why two people live through the same situation so differently: one wants to talk it out right away, the other needs a quiet evening first. More in the Moon in your natal chart.
- Don't stop at Sun signs. Sun-sign compatibility is a sketch, not an answer. What a real comparison of two charts shows is covered in compatibility beyond your Sun sign.
- Ask Eira. If something specific comes up, bring it to the chat. How to phrase a question so the answer is actually about you is covered in how to ask Eira.
And ask your friend to send their chart back. Sharing works both ways.
What to do and what to avoid
⚖️ Do
- Send your chart to the person you've been meaning to talk to about yourself.
- Ask for your friend's chart in return and compare your Moons.
- Before posting it to a big group, remember that the card shows your name and birth date.
⛔ Avoid
- Spamming your link to everyone just for the tokens.
- Sending the card without a few words of your own. People respond better to a deliberate gesture than to a broadcast.
You can also share it just because. Forget the bonus — the chart is worth showing on its own.
If something doesn't work
- The button sends a link, not a picture. Your Telegram app is most likely out of date — update it.
- There's no "Share" button. Your chart is still being built. The button appears under the wheel once the calculation is done, so give it a moment and reopen the tab.
- Your friend built a chart, but no bonus arrived. Check three things: your friend opened Eira for the first time, they opened it through your link rather than finding the app on their own, and their chart actually finished building.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the "Share" button for my natal chart in Eira?
In "My chart", on the "Chart" tab, under the wheel — right after the "Read basic reading" button. Tap it and choose whether to send the card to a chat, post it to your story, or use another app.
What does the card my friend receives show?
The zodiac wheel with your planets, your Sun, Moon and Rising signs, your first name and your birth date. Your birth time and birthplace are not shown.
How many tokens do I get for inviting a friend?
You and your friend each get 15 tokens, which means 15 messages in the chat with Eira. The bonus is credited once per invited friend, when they build their first chart through your link.
Does my friend have to pay to build a chart?
No. New users can use Eira for the first seven days without paying, and the natal chart is built as soon as the birth details are entered. The bonus chat messages come on top of that.
Why didn't I get a bonus when my friend found Eira through my story?
Telegram only lets people with Premium add a clickable link to a story. If your friend found Eira by the address on the image rather than through your link, the invite isn't counted. Sending the card in a direct message is more reliable.
Can I invite a friend without showing my chart?
Yes. The "Invite a friend" button at the bottom of the chart tab and in your profile sends only an invitation link. The bonus works the same way.
Build your chart and try sharing it — the "Share" button is waiting under the wheel. To calculate it, Eira needs your birth date, time and place, and you can use the app free for the first seven days.
